GRB's: The first three hours - Research Summer School

The world famous island of Santorini is the southernmost island of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. It is located 120 nautical miles south of Piraeus (the harbor of Athens) and 63 nautical miles north of Crete.

The Summer School has been held at the Petros M. Nomikos Conference Centre which is located in the capital of Santorini, Fira, overlooking the caldera and the volcano. It consists of a neoclassical mansion and next to it, a traditional winery excavated in the pumice used as an exhibition gallery.
